Corsewall Lighthouse Sunset
I recently had the pleasure to film an amazing wedding at Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel, near Stranraer. The whole day was fantastic, with the ceremony being held on the cliffs looking out to the Irish Sea, Northern Ireland and The Mull of Kintyre.
The bride Rachael, and her bridal party arrived in possibly the most unique way I can ever remember seeing at a wedding. On a trailer being pulled by a classic vintage bright red tractor! The guests were seated on bails of hay, and throughout the ceremony, there was beautiful music being played by a pianist.
Afterwards the meal, and evening reception was held in a massive marquee that had been erected in the nearby field. The whole wedding had a vintage retro feel to it. I think my highlights video that i’ve made for Rachael & Rob fit in well with that theme.

Forter Sign
I recently had the pleasure to film at possibly the most romantic venue in Scotland. Forter Castle, deep in the heart of Perthshire. Its a really intimate venue that is miles away from anything else. So if seclusion, and some peace and quiet is what your looking for, Forter Castle is ideal. It’s so secluded, you need to share the roads getting there with various forms of wildlife. The sheep in particular are well looked after, with their very own road signs.
The staff at Forter Castle are all very welcoming, when you first arrive, and it feels a bit like being invited into someone’s family home, rather than a grand castle, as the outside suggests.
Heath & Nathalie’s wedding on the 25th of May was a fantastic wedding to film, all the guests, most of which had traveled half way round the world, enjoyed every minute of the day.

Gryffe Weddings offer a Video Guest Book Service.
During your evening reception, we can set up a camera in a quiet area of your venue for guests to record personal messages for you. You can also record personal messages for one another or say a few words in reflection of your day. We bring along cards which can be placed on your tables encouraging guests to leave their message.
Our video guest book service is included with our Platinum Package or can be booked as an individual service for £399 – This always ends up being a brilliant laugh, and everyone has a great time doing the messages! A lot of people even end up coming back to leave another one later on after getting some ‘dutch courage’!
