The Fabulous Wedding Show which was held in Doubletree by Hilton at Dunblane Hydro on February 6th was a truly fabulous event! I had the pleasure in meeting a lot of the suppliers for the first time while doing some filming around the exhibition area. You can get a good idea in my following video, the wide range and quality of suppliers exhibiting their business at the show.
As well as the wide array of wedding products on display, there were a number of other great things to keep all the brides-to-be interested. The bridal fashion show, which featured collections from Alison Kirk, Catherine Brengen, Perfection Bridal, Slaters and Clan Kilts was a big crowd drawer, with both shows being packed out!
Another event that got all the brides excited, was the ‘Toss The Bouquet’ competition presented by celebrity chef Nick Nairn. As you can see in this following video, the bouquet ended up getting practically destroyed in the chaos!
One of the most entertaining part of the show on the day had to be the amazing 40s & 50s dance troupe, The Kennedy Cupcakes
After a great day yesterday at the Glasgow Girls Wedding Fayre, that’s us officially in wedding fayre season! There are loads coming up in the next couple of months, some i’ve announced i’ll be at, and some i’ve still to make a decision on. Next up on the calendar is the amazing Fabulous Wedding Show, being held in Dunblane Hydro on Sunday the 6th of February, 2011.
